THE UNBINDING

For Providers

A retreat for the person behind the provider.

Personal development. Professional growth. Continuing education. One integrated experience.

One integrated experience.

You spend your days listening, supporting, teaching, documenting, solving problems, and holding space for other people.

For two days, you don't have to be the one doing that.

The Unbinding for Providers is an immersive retreat designed for therapists and helping professionals who want to invest in themselves—not just as providers, but as people.

You'll earn continuing education while experiencing the work yourself.

And the experience doesn't begin when you arrive.

Before the retreat, you'll begin a guided online journey designed to help you understand your own patterns, stories, and protective strategies. After the retreat, you'll continue integrating what you've learned through individual consultations, group consultations, and provider-specific online learning.

This isn't another conference.

It isn't a lecture.

It isn't a treatment manual.

It's an invitation to become the participant.

Enrollment is now open.

NOT YOUR TYPICAL CE EXPERIENCE.

Most continuing education teaches you something new.

The Unbinding asks something different.

What happens when the provider becomes the participant?

Before we talk about clients...

Before we talk about implementation...

Before we talk about bringing this framework into your work...

I want you to experience it yourself.

You'll spend time exploring your own patterns, stories, beliefs, relationships, and protective strategies before we ever discuss professional application.

Because I believe something changes when you've lived the work instead of only learning about it.

You listen differently.

You ask different questions.

You recognize protective patterns more quickly.

And you develop a deeper appreciation for what you're asking another person to do.

You'll still earn your continuing education.

You'll leave with practical ideas you can bring into your work.

But first, you'll experience the journey yourself.

PERSONALLY. PROFESSIONALLY. PRACTICALLY.

PERSONALLY

Turn the lens around and explore the experiences, stories, patterns, needs, relationships, and choices shaping your own life.

You get to be the human first.

PROFESSIONALLY

Experience the framework from the inside and explore how what you're learning may deepen the way you understand the people you serve—and yourself as the provider.

PRACTICALLY

Leave with language, concepts, and practices you can continue exploring personally and thoughtfully apply within your professional role. Earn continuing education through an experience designed to be lived, not just listened to.

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE DOESN'T
MAKE US LESS HUMAN.

Knowing how to help other people doesn't exempt us from being human.

You can teach boundaries and struggle to hold your own.

Encourage self-compassion while criticizing yourself.

Recognize perfectionism in your clients while expecting yourself to get everything right.

Understand nervous system regulation and still find yourself overwhelmed.

Know exactly what you would tell someone else and have a hard time believing it when it comes to you.

Professional knowledge doesn't erase the stories we've learned about ourselves.

It doesn't prevent us from developing protective patterns.

And it doesn't mean we've stopped growing.

The Unbinding for Providers creates space for both the person and the professional.

Not because providers are broken.

Not because providers should have everything figured out.

Because the person behind the provider matters.

And the work you do every day deserves a place where you don't have to be the one holding the space.

YOUR RETREAT STARTS BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

The retreat begins long before you arrive.

As soon as you enroll, you'll begin The Unbinding—a guided online experience designed to help you understand your own stories, patterns, beliefs, and protective strategies before we ever meet.

The goal isn't to finish a course.

It's to arrive already engaged in your own journey.

SPARK

Get curious.

Notice what's happening before trying to change it.

The goal isn't to fix anything yet.

First, we notice.

FOUNDATIONS

Understand your capacity.

Growth doesn't happen separately from the body and the life you're living.

You'll explore your emotional capacity, resources, wellbeing, support, and the conditions that help you remain available for deeper work.

DISCOVERY

Understand your map.

Explore the experiences and interpretations that shaped how you understand yourself and the world.

SHIFT

Recognize the patterns.

Identify the protective stories and patterns you've practiced and begin understanding what they're doing.

CATALYST

Practice something different.

Question old assumptions, explore what's true now, and experiment with new responses.

UNBINDING

Live it.

Take what you've discovered into your relationships, work, boundaries, choices, habits, and everyday life.

Awareness creates choice. Practice creates change.

SUPPORTED BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER

The retreat is one part of the experience.

You'll have support before we meet, while we're together, and after you return home.

Before the Retreat

✔ Guided Online Journey

✔ One Individual Consultation

✔ One Group Consultation

During the Retreat

✔ Two immersive days of learning, movement, reflection, creativity, play, and connection

After the Retreat

The conversations before the retreat prepare you for the experience.

The conversations afterward help you continue living it.

Because insight matters.

What you practice when you return to your actual life matters even more.

THE TWO-DAY RETREAT

For two days, you'll step away from your normal routine and into an experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and participate instead of facilitate.

You'll move.

Breathe.

Reflect.

Create.

Laugh.

Rest.

Eat good food.

Spend time outside.

Connect with other providers.

And make room for conversations that rarely happen inside conference rooms.

Some moments will challenge you.

Some will surprise you.

Some will stay with you long after the retreat ends.

You'll earn your continuing education.

You'll experience the Gremlins & Goats framework from the inside.

And you'll leave with more than notes from another training.

You'll leave with an experience you've actually lived.

YOUR PROVIDER JOURNEY BEGINS

You came here because you're a provider.

But before we talked about your clients...

Before we talked about implementation...

Before we talked about bringing this framework into your work...

I wanted you to experience it yourself.

That was intentional.

The public Unbinding ends with personal integration.

Your Provider Journey begins where that experience leaves off.

As part of the Provider experience, you'll continue into provider-specific online learning created exclusively for therapists and helping professionals.

Together, we'll explore:

  • How your own patterns influence the work you do.

  • How to recognize protective patterns without reducing people to labels.

  • How to thoughtfully integrate Gremlins & Goats into the work you're already doing.

  • Ethical considerations for using the framework in clinical practice.

  • Provider-specific continuing education, including ethics education.

This isn't about becoming a Gremlins & Goats therapist.

It's about becoming a more intentional therapist.

Because before you bring this work into someone else's life...

I believe you should experience it yourself.

MEET YOUR GUIDE:
LEXIE LOMAN

Hi, I'm Lexie.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, educator, and the creator of The Unbinding and Gremlins & Goats.

For more than fifteen years, I've worked with people trying to understand why they keep getting stuck in the same patterns—even when they know what they "should" do.

Over time, I realized something.

Knowledge doesn't always create change.

Awareness creates choice.

Practice creates change.

That's what led me to create The Unbinding.

Not another training.

Not another retreat.

An experience that gives people the opportunity to understand themselves differently—and then begin living differently.

The Provider experience was created because I believe therapists deserve that opportunity too.

You spend your career helping other people grow.

Sometimes it's your turn.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is this therapy?

No.

The Unbinding for Providers is an educational and developmental experience. Personal reflection and experiential activities are part of the journey, but participation does not create a therapist-client relationship with Lighthouse, Lexie, or other participants.

Do I need to be struggling or burned out?

No.

You may come because you're exhausted.

You may also come because you're doing well and want to know yourself more deeply, protect the work you love, reconnect with parts of yourself that have gotten quieter, or simply continue growing.

Do I have to share personal things with the group?

No.

You'll be invited to reflect and participate, but you choose what you share.

Meaningful participation does not require public disclosure of everything you discover.

What if I already know a lot of this as a therapist?

You probably do.

But knowing a concept professionally and exploring how it lives in your own life are different experiences.

We're not pretending providers need introductory psychology.

We're creating an opportunity to turn the lens around.

Do I have to complete the online work before the retreat?

Yes.

The preparation is part of the experience, not optional homework attached to it.

It gives you the foundation and shared language needed for us to use the retreat for deeper experiential work rather than spending the first day teaching basic concepts.

How long should I expect the online preparation to take?

Plan to engage with the preparation gradually rather than completing it all at once.

Where is the retreat?

The retreat will be held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Registered participants will receive the exact location and logistical information before the retreat.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing. We'll move, sit, reflect, eat, laugh, and experience the day together.

This is not a conference-room-blazer kind of retreat.

Additional details will be included in your retreat preparation materials.

Are payment plans available?

Yes.

After your $300 deposit, you can pay the remaining $1,200 in full or choose a payment plan.

How many people will participate?

This is intentionally a small-group experience so there is room for connection, reflection, and individual support.

READY TO BEGIN?

For a little while...

You don't have to be the one holding the space.

Come experience The Unbinding yourself.

Earn your continuing education.

Connect with other providers.

Take time to invest in the person behind the provider.

Then continue into your Provider Journey and explore what it looks like to thoughtfully bring this work into your professional life.
